Real Madrid secured a 79-67 win over Serbia’s Crvena Zvezda Thursday in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 11 clash.
Walter Tavares scored 15 points and Vincent Poirier dropped 14 for the Spanish side at Madrid's WiZink Center.
For the losing side, Austin Hollins added 16 points and Maik Zirbes played with 12.
With this victory, Real Madrid sealed their ninth win in 11 games, leading the standings.
The 14th-placed Crvena Zvezda dropped to a 4-7 win/loss record.
In another clash, FC Bayern Munich beat Panathinaikos OPAP 81-78 at home.
