Real Madrid legend Francisco Gento passes away at 88
Former player, honorary president of Los Merengues played 600 games with Real Madrid, with record 6 European Cups

Real Madrid legend Francisco 'Paco' Gento Lopez passed away at the age of 88, the Spanish club announced on Tuesday.
On their official website, Real Madrid expressed their condolences and sent their sympathy to his family.
Francisco Gento, the only player in the history of football to have won the European Cup (rebranded as the UEFA Champions League in 1992) six times, played for Los Merengues between 1953 and 1971.
In his 18 seasons and 600 games with Real Madrid, Gento won six European Cups, 12 Spanish La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups, an Intercontinental Cup, a Mini World Cup and two Latin Cups, scoring 182 goals.
The former left winger was named Real Madrid's honorary president in 2016.
