Spanish referee Jesus Gil Manzano denied Real Madrid's winning goal against Valencia with final whistle in the Spanish La Liga week 27 game on Saturday.

Valencia scored twice in four minutes, in the 27th and 30th, to gain a two goal lead with Hugo Duro and Roman Yaremchuk, respectively at Mestalla.

Then Real Madrid's Brazilian star Vinicius Jr. scored twice in the 50th and 76th minute and leveled the score.

Both sides missed several scoring chances but when Real Madrid's young English star Jude Bellingham was about to score the winner, Manzano blew the final whistle and denied the goal.

Later Bellingham was shown a red card and sent-off for his objections.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said, "There's not much to say. Something unprecedented has happened and it's never happened to me before. After the rebound we had possession. It's never happened to me before and there's nothing more to add."

Real Madrid wrote "An unprecedented refereeing decision prevents Real Madrid from winning at Mestalla" on their official website about the game.

La Liga leaders Real Madrid with 66 points, missed the chance to extend their points difference with second-placed Girona to nine points with this draw.
