Stoyka Krasteva wins gold in women's flyweight boxing final at Tokyo Olympics

ANKARA

Bulgarian boxer Stoyka Krasteva on Saturday defeated Turkey's Buse Naz Cakiroglu to win the gold medal in the women's flyweight boxing final at the Tokyo Olympics.

Krasteva sealed the victory for her country's second medal in the 2020 games, delayed from last year.

​​​​​​​In the event, Cakiroglu, a former European champion, added an Olympic silver to her medal collection.
