Turkey wins 6 medals in Judo European Championships

ANKARA

Turkish visually impaired judoists won six medals including two gold at the just-concluded 2019 International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Judo European Championships in Genoa, Italy.

The Turkish team earned 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals, said the Turkish Blind Sports Federation.

Turkish judoists Zeynep Celik Aydın and Raziye Ulucam both earned gold medals in the competition.

Turkey's Recep Ciftci came in second and claimed a silver medal in the tournament, while judoists Ecem Tasin, Duygu Cete Artar and Mesme Tasbag bagged bronze medals for the Turkish team.
