Turkish basketball club player named as best in Europe
Turkish basketball club Anadolu Efes' Croatian forward Saric selected as "The Best Young Player in Europe."

The International Basketball Federation named Turkish basketball club Anadolu Efes' Croatian forward Dario Saric as "The Best Young Player in Europe" in 2014 on Wednesday.
According to FIBA's website, Saric beat Milwaukee Bucks' Greek player Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anadolu Efes' Turkish shooting guard Cedi Osman in the polls. He has thus come out on top in this award in Europe twice in a row.
The 20-year-old Croatian basketball player collected 13,594 votes and experts gave him 405 votes. Saric is followed by Antetokounmpo who recieved 17,147 fan votes and 340 expert votes. Cedi Osman came in third taking 15,628 fan votes and 135 expert votes in the polls. Expert votes count for more than fan votes in the competition.
