MERSIN (AA) - Sibel Ozkan Konakli of Turkey won the silver medal in weightlifting in women's 48 kg at the 17th Mediterranean Games on Friday.
Konakli snatched 78 kg and won the silver medal and but she disqualified in clean and jerk after 3 failed attempts in Turkey's southern Mersin province.
Italian Jenny Caterino Pagliaro snatched 79 kg and won the gold medal and Egypt's Basma Ibrahim snatched 73 and won the bronze.
In clean and jerk, Italian Jenny Caterino Pagliaro lifted 100 kg and the won gold medal, Spain's Estefania Juan Tello jerked 94 kg and won the silver medal, Egypt's Basma İbrahim lifted 92 kg and won the bronze medal.
