Vinicius Junior diagnosed with hamstring injury
Brazilian superstar suffered injury to biceps femoris in his left leg, says Real Madrid

Real Madrid confirmed on Monday that Vinicius Junior has suffered a hamstring injury.
"Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Vini Jr., he has been diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg," the team said in a statement. "His progress will be monitored."
It gave no information on a recovery timeline for Vinicius, who suffered similar injuries twice last season.
As a Madrid star, he lifted the UEFA Champions League title twice, in 2022 and 2024, as well as three Spanish La Liga trophies.
Vinicius Junior has scored 95 goals and made 83 assists in 282 games for the Spanish powerhouse.
