Belgium defeated Panama 3-0 on Monday evening in World Cup Group G's opening match at Fisht Stadium in Sochi.

Panama, in their first World Cup participation, did not allow the Red Devils to score in the first half.

In the second half, Dries Mertens's superb volley and Romelu Lukaku's brace helped Belgium ease past their opponents.

The other match in Group G will kick off at 9 p.m. local time (1900GMT) between Tunisia and England at Volgograd Arena.
