Warrants out for 79 FETO-linked teachers in Turkey
50 suspects arrested so far as part of Ankara-based operation

ANKARA
Arrest warrants were issued for 79 teachers working at Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO)-linked schools, according to the prosecutors' office in Ankara on Tuesday.
Following the warrants, 50 suspects were arrested in an Ankara-based operation.
The teachers were working at FETO-linked schools shut down by a decree-law.
FETO and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup attempt on July 15, 2016, that martyred 250 people and left nearly 2,200 injured.
Ankara also accuses the group of a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police, and judiciary.
