Twelve people were killed and fifty others were injured as a Syrian regime army warplane hit Martyr Hazma Mosque in Anadan town of Aleppo by "barrel bomb" on Tuesday.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) Saleh Abu Leila, spokesperson for Syria General Revolutionary Council Anadan's media advisor, said, four female teachers and eight students were killed who were at Qur'an course at the mosque, while more than 50 injured.
Wounded people were hospitalized in Turkey's Kilis province, as most part of the mosque was destroyed, said Leila.
Leila said the regime forces targeted worship sites in Ramadan on purpose.
