IDLIB (AA) - September 21, 2012 - Anadolu Agency (AA) became the first global media organization to enter Syria's Ariha region in Idlib Governorate after this location came under heavy bombardment for the past one month.
AA's team of reporters took photographs and shot videos of the destruction that Syrian troops caused in Ariha.
The Free Syrian Army (FSA) said that they destroyed many tanks and armored vehicles of the Syrian army in Ariha.
Sources said that the FSA lost 32 troops while the Syrian army also had casualties due to clashes taking place in Ariha.
Officials of the FSA said that the AA was the only media group to enter Ariha while other international and local media organizations are not permitted to enter Ariha.
