SARAJEVO
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that the Anadolu Agency (AA) has today reached its most prestigious level in its 93 years of history.
Evaluating his two-day visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina while visiting AA's Balkans Regional Office in Sarajevo, Bulent Arinc indicated that, with the new "News Transmission System" which broadcast the first news story in Bosnian on Thursday, the AA has reached its most prestigious level in its history.
"We will continue to get better. God willing, the AA will be among the world's biggest five news agencies on the 100th anniversary of its foundation," Arinc said.
Arinc added that he had fruitful talks with Bosnian officials.
On the other hand, Board Chairman and Director General of the AA Kemal Ozturk, stressed that they were an agency providing alternative news from all corners of the world in an objective and neutral way.
"We are an international news agency and are proud to be here," Ozturk also said.
