ISTANBUL
A delegation from Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) met Abdullah Ocalan, head of PKK terrorist organization, who has been kept in prison on Imrali island.
Following the meeting, Pervin Buldan, BDP group acting chairperson, told reporters that she would share the messages of Ocalan shortly, noting that the meeting was a historical step.
We are experiencing a historical process. All sides should be very sensitive and careful during this process, Buldan said.
Buldan noted that BDP chairman would share the details of the meeting when its time had come.
A delegation comprised of Buldan and deputies Sirri Sureyya Onder and Altan Tan held a meeting with Ocalan on Imrali island on Saturday.
