BRUSSELS
Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Equal Rights Joelle Milquet will pay a visit to Turkey on Monday to examine the reflections of Syria crisis.
Milquet, to be accompanied by Brussels regional capital parliamentarian Mahinur Ozdemir of Turkish origin, will ask for Turkish officials' support to prevent Belgians' joining radicals' side in Syrian clashes.
Sources say around 100 Belgian youth of north African origin fight against Assad by the side of the radical groups.
In Europe Union (EU), more than 500 people are said to be fighting in the same conditions in Syria.
The EU states fear those groups to have tendency of violence when they come back home.
Milquet is expected to come to capital Ankara on Monday, after visiting historical sites in Istanbul during the weekend, where she will meet her Turkish counterparts Bekir Bozdag and Besir Atalay, as well as Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin and Minister of Interior Muammer Guler.
