ERZURUM, Turkey
A cold weather spell is adversely affecting life in eastern Turkey.
Erzurum
Freezing temperatures in Erzurum province have resulted in icy roads, with icicles forming on the roofs of buildings.
Ardahan
Harsh weather conditions continue to affect Ardahan province with icy roads making it difficult to commute.
Igdir
While the cold weather brought difficulties, it also created eye-catching images in Igdir province.
Fog engulfed the province where the air temperature dropped to minus 8 degrees.
Agri
Icicles formed on the roofs of the buildings and streams and rivers froze due to the cold weather.
People covered their vehicles with blankets and carpets to guard against the cold.
