ANKARA (AA) - Chairman of the Turkish Confederation of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) Bendevi Palandoken said on Wednesday damaged image of Turkey due to Taksim Gezi Park protests badly affected shop owners.
Palandoken expressed hope that the protests would come to an end soon after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had received chairmen of 13 vocational federations.
Shop owners and citizens were restless due to protests , said Palandoken adding PM Erdogan assured that the government would cover the loss of shop owners.
