Egypt's expelled Ankara ambassador arrives in Istanbul

Egyptian ambassador did not comment on any of the recent developments between Turkey and Egypt

ISTANBUL

Egypt’s ambassador to Turkey Abderahman Salaheldin has arrived in Istanbul from Cairo on Sunday, only a day after he was declared “persona non grata” by Turkey.

Salaheldin came to Istanbul with a scheduled Egyptian Airlines flight at 16:30 (Turkish Time).

Egyptian ambassador did not comment on any of the recent developments between Turkey and Egypt while he waited at Ataturk Airport’s VIP lounge.

Egypt and Turkey have declared each other’s ambassadors as “persona non grata” on Saturday.
