AGRI, Turkey
The result of March 30's local election voting in Agri, a city in Turkey's east, has been overruled by the provincial election body after appeals from rival parties.
The board made the decision to re-hold the elections on June 1 during a recount of votes after appeals from the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party and Peace and Democracy Party (BDP).
BDP provincial head had announced their candidate's victory, by only 10 votes ahead of the AK Party contestant, on Monday.
BDP candidate Sirri Sakik, also an MP in eastern province Mus, said the board had postponed the election after their appeal.
