Turkish Minister of Science, Industry & Technology Nihat Ergun said that the US was not willing about Turkey's efforts for nuclear power plant.
Ergun met Dr. Susan Hockfield, President of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, on Wednesday.
Ergun said that the most important cooperation area between Turkey and the US should be science and technology, and added that the cooperation in the fields of commerce, politics and defense was always discussed, but science and technology was kept behind.
Regarding Turkey's nuclear power plant efforts, Ergun called on US to be more willing, and recalled that Turkey had agreements with Russia and Japan in this field.
