Istanbul (AA) - Protesters at Taksim Gezi Park held a memorial service in commemoration of the three people that lost their lives in the protests across the country.
Crowds gathered in Taksim after ending their shifts, with some academics and artists holding rallies and chanting slogans in support of the protests.
The names of the deceased were read out from atop a bus brought into the park. After each name, protesters screamed "alive!"
