Eight people are reported missing after a boat carrying suspected illegal migrants sank off the Turkish coast Monday.
The incident happened off Gumusluk, a seaside village and fishing port in Mugla province, southwestern Turkey, according to an Anadolu Agency correspondent in the region.
Search and rescue efforts are continuing to find the missing people.
An unconfirmed number of rescued migrants were taken to Bodrum State Hospital by coast guard teams.
