ANKARA
Minister of State at Germany's Federal Foreign Office, Michael Link, has said that the Patriot missiles would likely be deployed near the southeastern city of Kahramanmaras in Turkey.
In a statement released on Thursday, German Embassy in Ankara stated that Michael Link had said that NATO's Patriot missiles would probably be located near the southeastern city of Kahramanmaras in the country.
"Therefore, like a letter predicted, the Partiot missiles would not affect Syrian air zone," said Link.
Diplomatic sources had earlier stated that Germany had not welcomed to deploy the missiles near the Syrian border in southeastern Turkey.
