PKK has claimed responsibility for Sunday’s Ankara blast which killed 35 people and injured 125.

Turkish security sources told Anadolu Agency on Thursday PKK claimed the attack occurred on March 13 in Ankara.

Thirty-one of the people injured in Sunday’s terrorist suicide bombing continue to receive treatment at hospitals across the capital, with nine still in intensive care, said the Health Ministry on Thursday.

The car bomb attack in Ankara’s central Kizilay neighborhood Sunday evening hit a major public transportation hub, killing 35 people and injuring dozens of others.

The Interior Ministry has identified the bomber as 24-year-old Seher Cagla Demir, who joined the PKK terrorist group in 2013 and received training with the YPG in Syria.

The terrorist PKK also admitted that the attack was made by Demir, code-named "Doga Jiyan".

Security sources added that female terrorists have recently been carrying out PKK attacks, and PKK branches and affiliates believed such attacks would get a public response.
