ISTANBUL
Turkish President Abdullah Gul received the Kyrgyz Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov and an accompanying delegation in Istanbul.
Gul's meeting with Babanov took place at the Tarabya Palace and lasted around one hour. The meeting was closed to the press corps.
Turkish presidential sources said that President Gul told Babanov that Turkey's support to Kyrgyztan in all fields would continue.
Babanov, in his part, thanked President Gul for receiving them.
Our two brotherly countries entered the 21st century together with democratic structures, Babanov said as he met President Gul.
Babanov came to Istanbul to attend the World Economic Forum.
