ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz on Friday quoted the words of Turkish Minister of Economy Zafer Caglayan and said, "The advantages and disadvantages of the free trade and Customs Union agreements are overt."

Yildiz answered the questions of the press following the Turkish-German Energy Forum he attended with German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Rosler in Ankara.

Upon being asked of his opinion in regards to Caglayan's statements of Customs Union, Yildiz said, "It is impossible not to agree with Mr. Caglayan. The advantages and disadvantages of the free Trade and Customs Union agreements are overt. Economies are global in the EU however, policies are national. The structure stuck in between them is trying to find a solution. And this is a hard term and process for the EU."

Yildiz stated that Germany wasn't any country from the perspective of Turkey and significant cooperation between Germany and Turkey were to develop in private sector.
