MOSCOW
First group of Russian people, who are being evacuated from Syria due to clashes in this country, have arrived in Lebanon on Tuesday.
According to sources in Russian Embassy in Damascus, 50 Russian nationals were evacuated from Syria, and arrived in Al-Jdeida-Masnaa check point along Syria-Lebanon border.
A convoy of three buses were carrying Russian women who married Syrian nationals, and their children.
The evacuation list includes a total of 81 Russian nationals.
The embassy also stated that nearly 1,000 Russian nationals demanded to leave Syria in October, 2012.
Meanwhile, Russian Embassy to Lebanon stated that this was not a planned evacuation.
