ANKARA
The Turkish energy minister said on Tuesday that the second drilling for oil and natural gas would be made on land of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz had a meeting with TRNC Economy and Energy Minister Sunat Atun in Ankara.
The second drilling for oil and gas would be made on TRNC land, and it would be a complementary one, he said, adding that later they would make exploration in the sea.
Yildiz said that they have drilled as deep as 4,075 meters at Turkyurdu-1 and they would continue drilling.
