We sadly announce that Saleh Mahmoud Laila, Anadolu Agency’s photojournalist in Syria, was killed Thursday night in a suicide bomb attack in Aleppo.
Saleh had survived an airstrike by Assad forces last July with several injuries and brought to Turkey for treatment.
We seriously condemn this terrorist attack, and wish God’s mercy on Saleh, who had been working under difficult conditions to report on the Syrian crisis.
Anadolu Agency sends its sincere condolences to his family and friends.
