Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) in Istanbul where she arrived in to attend events to mark the 100th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Albania, Edita Tahiri noted that Syria entered a process of democratic change.
"Syrian people are struggling for a quality democracy, freedom and a better life," Tahiri underlined.
"People in Syria want to express their thoughts freely, use democratic tools and establish a state as they desire," Tahiri indicated.
Touching on Palestine issue, Tahiri stressed that a solution, which would be reached between Israel and Palestine, would help restoring stability not only in the region but also in the world.
Regarding Turkish economy, Tahiri said that Turkey made great economic progress while the rest of the world experienced an economic crisis.
"Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan played a great role in Turkey's economic development," Tahiri also said.
