Top Turkish diplomat to visit Spain

ANKARA

Turkey’s foreign minister will visit Spain on Friday upon an invitation by his Spanish counterpart, the Turkish foreign ministry said Wednesday.

Mevlut Cavusoglu will be hosted by Arancha Gonzalez Laya, according to a ministry statement.

"During the talks between the two Foreign Ministers, Turkish-Spanish bilateral and Turkey-EU relations, as well as current regional and international issues will be discussed," it said.

Preparations for the 7th Turkey-Spain Intergovernmental Summit will also be addressed.
