ANKARA
Chairman of Turkey's Religious Affairs Department Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gormez on Friday met a delegation of Arakan Muslims in Ankara.
Turkish Religious Affairs Department stated that Gormez met the Chairman of Arakan Solidarity Association Muhammad Eyub and an accompanying delegation at his office.
Speaking at the meeting, Gormez underlined that Arakan should not be dropped from the current global agenda.
"The most difficult thing between brothers is not being able to send aid materials as much as desired. What is important is to be able to send humanitarian assistance to the Arakan Muslims," Gormez also said.
