DIYARBAKIR, Turkey
Over 400 terror suspects were arrested in 29 provinces across Turkey in operations against PKK terror group, the Interior Ministry said on Monday.
A total of 418 suspects were arrested across Turkey including in southeastern Diyarbakir, Mardin and eastern Van provinces, Turkey's Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Operations are ongoing in the region, it added.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including many women, children and infants.
