Inflation in Turkey decreased in October after increasing for three consecutive months, the Turkish Statistical Institute reported Tuesday.
The annual inflation rate fell to 7.58 percent in October from 7.95 percent in the previous month, the report said. The Consumer Price Index saw a 1.55 percent increase in October from September.
"All-in-all, the October figures, particularly core indicators, contained no silver lining regarding the inflation outlook, except for the fact that food price increases remained limited," commented Garanti Bank economist Gokce Celik.
