"Those who make investments in Moldova today will get great benefits in the future," Caglayan said during his speech at Turkey-Moldova Trade and Investment Forum in Istanbul.
Caglayan said that Turkish businessmen should make more investments in Moldova for improvement of economic, political and commercial relations between the two countries.
Turkey and Moldova signed seven agreements under chairmanship of prime ministers of the two countries on Thursday, he said, adding that one of these agreements would allow Turkish and Moldovan businessmen to make business together in the third countries.
Caglayan said that Turkish companies had investments worth more than 300 million U.S. dollars in Moldova.
Free trade agreement would also be finalized by the end of this year, he said.
Caglayan said that trade volume between Turkey and Moldova had been only 44 million USD nine years ago and it has reached 453 million USD in 2011.
Moldovan PM assures Turkish businesspeople he will extend all assistance possible
Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat on Friday said that they expected Turkish businesspeople to invest in Moldova.
Meeting members of Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and several Turkish businesspeople over lunch in Istanbul on Friday, Moldovan Prime Minister Filat assured the Turkish business circles that he would extend all assistance possible to Turkish investors willing to invest in his country.
"As the prime minister, I will provide all comfort, atmosphere and right conditions for Turkish businesspeople," Filat noted.
Earlier in the day, Filat and his delegation met with the Governor of Istanbul Huseyin Avni Mutlu.
