Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will make the opening remarks of the meeting of the 55-member group which aims at coordinating international community's efforts over Afghanistan.
German Ambassador Michael Koch, special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as US Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan Marc Grossman are also set to participate in the meeting.
The group's most recent meeting was in Helsinki.
In a separate meeting on Thursday in Ankara, senior diplomats are set to gather as part of the Istanbul Process, an initiative launched in November 2011 to develop cooperation and political dialogue in Afghan region following a ministers' conference in Istanbul.
