Turkey: Stranded Ukrainian climber rescued
Climber broke his ankle at Mt. Demirkazik in central Anatolian province of Nigde

A Ukrainian climber, who broke his ankle while climbing Mt. Demirkazik in the central Anatolian province of Nigde, was rescued by the Turkish gendarmerie.
The climber, who lost his balance and fell around 4 meters (13 feet) at the Sokullupinar spot of Mt. Demirkazik, was able to call for help.
The Mountaineering Search and Rescue Team of the provincial Gendarmerie Command rescued the climber and brought him to the Camardi district.
It was learnt that the climber had been taken to Camardi Public Hospital and that he was in good condition.
