Turkey will open 24 new representations overseas in 2012.
Speaking at a meeting of the Presidency of Turks and Relative Communities Overseas, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru said on Wednesday that to offer better services for Turks who live abroad, they were effectively working to open 24 new representations around the world in 2012.
"Primarily we want to increase number of representations where Turks densely live. We currently have 122 embassies and 71 consulate generals but to give better services we will increase these numbers," said Koru.
