ANKARA
Turkish Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz has stated they were ready to share Turkey's all experiences with Yemen and said, "We want to plan our future together."
Yilmaz welcomed Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Muhammad al-Saadi in Turkish capital, Ankara on Wednesday.
By stating that both countries share the same culture, history and civilization, Yilmaz underlined the importance of Yemen for Turkey.
Yilmaz explained that like Turkey, Yemen had a very strategic geographic position and reminded that lately in Yemen, a political transformation had taken place.
He said, without any political stability, the economy would not develop and Turkey was an example of it.
He added that the new government in Yemen had to increase the employment and prosperity primarily.
Yilmaz said, in the past decade Turkey achieved successful results in those areas and that they were ready to share all Turkey's experiences with Yemen.
"Not just as a state, yet as a private sector, civil society and with our people, we stand by Yemen," noted the Turkish minister.
Furthermore, guest minister al-Saadi mentioned that Turkey's rooted improvements in the past decade were perfect models for Yemen and said, "Actually we came here to take intensive lessons from your successes."
