Turkey trade vol. up by 6.4 % with OECD, 12.5% with Turkic Republics

Turkey trade vol. up by 6.4 % with OECD, 12.5% with Turkic Republics

Turkish foreign trade volume in January-October term increased by 6.4 % with OECD countries and by 12.5 % with Turkic republics compared to the last year's same term, recorded Turkish Statistical Institution (TurkStat) on Friday. 

According to the data released by TurkStat, Turkey realized 331.7 billion dollars of foreign trade in January-October 2013 term 47 percent of which was done with Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) members. In other words, Turkey's recorded 158.3 billion dollars of trade with OECD countries covered 56.174 billion of which was exportation and 101.8 billion was importation. 

The highest trade volume was recorded in her trade with Germany (30.7), Italy (16.1) and the US (15.4). 

On the other hand, the trade volume between Turkey and Turkic Republics increased by 12.5 in the ten months period of 2013. 

In January-October terms the highest exportation rate was recorded with Azerbaijan while highest importation rate was recorded with Kazakhstan.

According to the TurkStat data, the trade volume between Turkey and Turkic Republics in January-October 2013 term increased by 12.5 percent with 8.7 billion dollars compared to last year's same term which recorded a trade volume of 7.7 billion dollars. 

 The 5.7 billlion dollars of the total amount was exportation while 2.9 billion dollars was recorded in importation.
