ISTANBUL
Speaking at a fast-breaking meal hosted by the Municipality of Esenyurt in Istanbul province, Turkish Minister of EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Bagis said that there was a civil war in Syria.
"What is taking place in Syria is barbarity," Bagis stressed.
"Turkey wants to end the barbarity in Syria by receiving the support of the international community. Our Foreign Minister is holding talks with important actors on Wednesday. Our Prime Minister is holding important talks on the issue as well. We need to extinguish this fire together," Bagis also said.
