ANKARA
Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu arrived in Bulgaria is on Wednesday, on the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart, Kristian Vigenin in Sofia, officials said.
The two leaders will meet and exchange views on bilateral and regional issues during Davutoglu's two-day visit.
According to Turkey’s Foreign Ministry statement, Davutoglu is also going to meet with Bulgaria’s President Rosen Plevneliev, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski and the Bulgarian Muslim Denomination’s office.
Davutoglu will also visit Plovdiv and Shumen region, both of which have a significant Turkish minority.
