ANKARA
Turkish Airlines launched direct flights from Istanbul to Mozambique’s capital Maputo on Wednesday, the company said in a statement.
Turkish Airlines will run three flights per week to Maputo.
With this addition, Turkish Airlines' destinations in Africa have now increased to 45.
Introductory trip fares are available, from Istanbul to Maputo starting at $670 and from Maputo to Istanbul $660 (including taxes and fees), the statement said.
Turkish Airlines has the world's fourth-largest flight network and flies to 279 destinations in 110 countries, according to the statement.
