ANKARA
Turkish Parliamentary General Assembly adopted a draft law facilitating the specialization of courts.
According to the new law, files would be distributed to courts based on their subject matter and this way specialization of Turkish courts would be sought.
In cases where more than one court deals with the same subject matter, the Turkish High Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK) may decide which court is more appropriate to handle the case.
