ANKARA
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Thursday called his Brazilian counterpart to congratulate him on his appointment.
Aloysio Nunes Ferreira Filho was named Brazil's top diplomat on March 7 by President Michel Temer, to replace Jose Serra who stepped down due to health reasons.
Nunes, 71, has served as a Senate member since 2011.
