JERUSALEM
Turkey's most senior cleric visited Anadolu Agency's Jerusalem office on Tuesday.
Mehmet Gormez, president of Diyanet, Turkey’s religious affairs office, praised the agency for “making a name in the international arena."
Referring to the 78 mosques destroyed in the Gaza Strip during Israel’s bombardment last year, Gormez said: "We promise to rebuild these mosques under the guidance of Turkey’s presidency of religious affairs."
