An Anadolu Agency (AA) team of reporters took photographs and shot videos of a 5,000 capacity new tent city in the Bayirbucak Turkmen region of Latakia.
The tent city is being erected for Syrians who have had to leave homes due to concerns of security and had to take shelter in Latakia.
An official at the tent city in Bayirbucak Turkmen region, Ahmet Resit told the Anadolu Agency that they began erecting the tent city only a week ago with the contributions of the Association of Grand Children of Fatih Sultan Mehmet.
"There are currently 300 people in our tent city. They try to survive under very tough conditions," Resit also said.
Bayirbucak Turkmen region is only a kilometer away from the Turkish border.
