ANKARA
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan referred to Monday's blast at the Cilvegozu Border Gate at the Syrian border and said, the ones who see the blast as an opportunity and seek political interest, their attitude will not square with their conscience and mercy.
"We will wait with patience during the investigation into the case. When the case is enlightened, for sure we don't hesitate to take every necessary step," said also Turkish PM Erdogan.
Speaking at his party's parliamentary group meeting on Tuesday, Erdogan stressed, the death toll rose to 14 including 3 Turks and 11 Syrians following the blast at the Cilvegozu border gate in southern province of Hatay and he sent his condolences to the families of victims and wished quick recovery to the wounded ones.
Erdogan reminded that the Cilvegozu Border Gate was closed to ins and outs because of the ongoing violence in Syria and only relief aid were allowed to come in and go out and they were being distributed in there.
EU has to question its affection for terrorists, said Erdogan
Erdogan said that the European Union (EU), an entity which constantly criticized Turkey, had to place its affection for terrorists on the table and question its affection for them.
Erdogan emphasized that terror would return to the EU as a boomerang.
When the boomerang returned, it would be too late for the EU, Erdogan stressed.
We can no longer tolerate being kept at EU's doors for the past 54 years and Europe's clemency for terrorists, Erdogan underlined.
Our request for extradition of 408 terrorists, more than half of which live in Germany, has been rejected based on lame excuses, Erdogan also said.
