Turkish president receives Syriac Catholic patriarch
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Ignatius Joseph III Yonan hold closed-door meeting in capital Ankara
ANKARA
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday received Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch, Ignatius Joseph III Yonan, in the capital Ankara.
Erdogan welcomed the patriarch and his delegation at the presidential complex, where they held a closed-door meeting.
Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin were also present at the meeting.
