"Bibliophiles" from Egypt and abroad visit the "44th Cairo International Book Fair" which hosts 735 publishers from 25 countries.
Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi inaugurated the 44th Cairo International Book Fair on Wednesday.
Along with Anadolu Agency's (AA) booth, Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre, Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) and several other countries' culture centres hold booths as well.
AA's booth draws attention of visitors and several press establishments including the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) and Egypt's Al-Ahram Newspaper prepared news stories about the visitor's interest in AA.
Yesterday, President Morsi visited AA's booth as well.
At this year's fair, Libya is the guest of honour.
Published books in politics, economy, society, science, religion and arts, children's books, magazines and e-publications took their places at the book stands.
The fair will be running until February 5 however, in the case of receiving high number of visitors, they may extend the closing date.
